Studio work at Gamebasics
Since 2019 I've built Unity games, shared frameworks and the build pipelines behind them at Gamebasics, the Miniclip studio behind some of the most played football management games. First in the Netherlands, and since 2025 from Tokyo.

Football Head Coach

An American football manager licensed by the NFLPA. Players build a franchise, lead their roster and design their own tactics and formations. I've worked on the Unity client for years, and today I maintain the game and build new features for it.

Ultimate Football Manager

Unity client development on the studio's football management game, working on features together with design, art and back-end.

Shared frameworks

Frameworks and systems shared across the studio's games, so work done once can ship in several titles. This is where architecture matters most: clear boundaries, stable APIs, and code other teams can pick up.
CI/CD for every game

The build and release pipelines behind all of the studio's games, on Jenkins and TeamCity. Every change is built and checked automatically, Unity builds come out for each platform, and builds reach QA and the stores without anyone running them by hand.
- Automated Unity builds per game and platform
- Tests and checks on every change, so problems show up before review
- Delivery of builds to QA and store release tracks
AI harness
Setting up the studio's codebases so coding agents can work in them well: context, conventions and checks. More about how I build these.
An unannounced game in a major franchise

I'm currently developing an unannounced game in a major franchise, alongside prototyping new games that haven't been announced yet. More when it's public.
Dynasty Duels

A free multiplayer real-time strategy game with base building, resource gathering, fog of war and tactical attacks. I worked full-stack: networking, back-end and the Unity client.
Online Soccer Manager
Worked on the native Android app of a daily football club management game with millions of players.
Building a game, an engine, or the tools around them?
I'm based in Tokyo and open to conversations about Unity, C++ and engine roles, C# and .NET software roles, and teams that want to put AI agents to work on real codebases.
